ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I start with a block of clay and a vision. Days later I transform the earthen material into a classical female nude or an abstract form. My work is like a meditation. I strive to impart an inner peace in what I've sculpted. Influenced by the harmony and balance in nature, my figures are designed to capture the essence of serenity.
